I bought a 3DS capture kit board, mainly because it was cheaper, a quicker method and didn't want to miss out on orders again. Overall, there's so many to be modded that'd it be probably best to wait patiently. He's been a great person to respond quickly whenever we need support, but doing all these boards for everyone seems to be a very hard task. Loopy’s turnaround is already really good, hoping to keep him undistracted on his roll so ultimately more people can receive a modification. That’ll collectively save him time to finish these quicker and to return to building more supply and hopefully other models too.Īgain, it’s just a friendly request. Perhaps there are issues with the 3DS Viewer client software you are using. The Katsukity instructions warn that the USB audio is in beta. Have you tried wrapping the USB cords around a donut magnet?.Is the webcam and the 3DS both plugged directly into the PC, or are you using a USB hub? Is it a powered hub? Can you plug them into different USB connections - isolate them from different USB boards?.Have you tried plugging a cord from your 3DS headphone jack directly into your PC? Did the webcam work alongside the 3DS audio without the static and pops?.Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can perform. I am not having issues with the USB audio, but from other signals-based experiences, it sounds like you are experiencing a ground loop.
I have also recently purchased a Katsukity 3DS capture kit. May ANYONE please help me with my situation? I want to get this resolved way ahead before Pokemon Sun & Moon come out. I've also contacted Katsukity but supposedly the customer service is poor (based off what I've read online) and I'm still awaiting a response. I've tried searching for many solutions online and haven't found any. Problem is, I'm a Twitch streamer and I need the webcam and 3DS plugged in at the same time. The webcam just has to be deactivated and everything works perfectly. It seems this only happens when I have a webcam plugged in at the same as as the 3DS, both via USB. In addition, the frames per second seem to drop. When I run the software and plug in the 3DS to the computer via mini USB cable, there is a loud static/skipping noise coming from the 3DS, but you're still able to hear game sound. I'm having trouble with my recently delivered 3DS w/ Capture Kit from Katsukity, specifically towards the audio but also a little towards image quality.
